an event of magical proportion, in a fantastic new, stylish space – known as
Club 121. With a lineup as solid as Balboa’s bicep (including featured
techno producer D.A.V.E the Drummer), new slick space and sound & lighting
to overload the senses, we can guarantee one fine excuse to see a therapist
on Monday.
PsynOpticz & MMD also bring you an EP Launch for Rubix Qube. A renowned
producer within the South African an international trance culture. He will
groove your legs and bend you minds with his intricate beats. Be prepared
for a night of pure elixirs, just the right dose of what is right for you!

D.A.V.E. The Drummer:
As label boss of Apex, Hydraulix and Mutate To Survive, and major player in
the development of the UK techno movement, DAVE The Drummer commands a
certain respect within the industry.
He has supported the likes of Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola & Thomas Krome,
and has been voted into DJ Mag’s Top 100 Djs charts twice.
With the inception of his Hydraulix label label in 1998 he went on to have a
profound influence on techno throughout the next 10 years with his distinct
style and futuristic productions, always left of centre but within the
ever-changing boundaries of techno. His emphasis is on the funk and
originality, throwing a spannner into the works of normality and helping
people to think for themselves.
Dave’s earlier productions have also appeared on respected labels Primate,
CLR, Bound & Giant & Dwarf as well as S.U.F, Cluster, Routemaster & Smitten.
His new project Mutate To Survive does exactly that, spreading his wings
musically in a more stripped-down and experimental fashion – but true to his
groove of undeniable techno !
